I've been using MinGW for about 8 months now, and over this time various subsystems of mingw have had new versions released, and I have downloaded and installed them... but over time I am concerned that something has or will become wrong. what can I do in order to make sure I have a "clean" install of all the various mingw components? Is it a matter of deleting everything and then downloading the main mingw installer, running it, and then applying the GCC 3.3.1 candidate? or would I still need to do more? Don't get me wrong, currently my entire mingw install is functional, but I don't even know if I have the newest versions of each component. Jeff BTW: am I the only one with this concern? Would it be a worthwhile usage of time to try and develop some tools for keeping up with this? |
