The real solution would be to modify Bison to search relative to bison.exe, 
but until then you can set BISON_PKGDATADIR=e:/mingw/share/bison. Actually, 
the current snapshot probably won't work for you anyway because it won't be 
able to find "m4", so you'll get:

e:\mingw\bin\bison.exe: _spawnvp: No such file or directory

Sorry, you may have to use the bison from mingwDTK or somewhere else until 
this is fixed.
