I am in the process of attempting to compile PythonCOM under Mingw32. I have gone a long way and with a handful of patches everything compiles. Some of these patches are for PythonCOM itself and have been sent to the maintainer (and integrated) but a few of them are for the w32api that ships with Mingw32 as well. I am currently using 2.3 which I believe is the latest set of released files. From that I have a few questions: 1) Does it matter what source the information that goes into the patch is taken from? Or would you rather not know? Most of the changes that I have acquired have come from the Wine project -- the format for the include files is different but its fairly easy to translate. I have also on occasion used Google and found references to MSDN. Any thoughts? 2) Who do I send the patches to? Do I mail them to this mailing list or some other location?
