Thanks for the advice. I'll get a copy of bison into my environment.

I blew away the build-gcc directory, and used the .sh file that was 
delivered with the sources to configure and make. Using that shell script, 
I don't need bison because I got past the plural.c problem without it. I'm 
going to write that down on my to-do list to figure out exactly why later 
so I can better understand what's going on with that.

I did get some other error messages, particularly related to syscalls.c, 
but I want to work through them myself before I get stuck again and come 
back to the group. Others were related to make not finding GNAT related 
stuff, and it didn't find an ada directory under $(build_dir)/gcc.
