Hey there, The STLPort is NOT just part of the mingw release. However a very good Stl library port is, libstdc++. Including Hash_Set. Take a look in your include files. Subject: Re: [Mingw-users] Newbie using G++ for the first time. *sigh* I guess this will teach me to try and do things the half-assed way. I thought that if I just unzipped the "gcc-3.2-core-20020817-1.tar.gz" files I could have the compiler and wouldn't have to worry about anything else, I also thought it would save some space. Well I ran the full thing and installed it and it runs just fine now :) And it only takes 37 meg (as opposed to a couple of hundred for VC++). Now if I can just get it to work with Boost, DirectX, and Opengl :) Oh and one more quick question, I may be confused but does MinGW have STLPort built in already? I could swear I saw that somewhere. Mainly I was going to use the Hash_Set thats not in the STL yet. If not I assume that its pretty painless to build the STLPort for g++ and get it to work, of course my assumptions have been wrong in the past. Thanks for everyones help.
