Hi, I'm in the process of learning to use and work with the various autotools. I've been using the book, "GNU Autoconf, Automake, and Libtool" by Gary Vaughn, et. al. and am having trouble with a particular Autoconf macro that is used in the book: <http://sources.redhat.com/autobook/autobook/autobook_255.html> the AC_TRY_LINK_FUNC does not add the -lhello to the command line in the test... the resulting test program fails and I just now realized that because I'm cross-compiling a Win32 executable will not test correctly regardless of whether the flag is used or not. Is there a method to tell autoconf to run test programs via another "shell" - wine in this case? Thank you. Elizabeth |
