While there is a lt_cv_sys_global_symbol_pipe symbol in aclocal.m4/configure, lt_cv_allow_undefined_flag is nowhere to be found. In fact, out of the variables listed in your patch, lt_cv_sys_global_symbol_pipe is the only one used by aclocal.m4/configure when using CVS libtool.
