I'm trying to compile Mesa-4.0.1 for Windows 98 using MinGW (unsuccessfully so far). The compiling instructions for MinGW that came with the Mesa source are not up-to-date (no .bat files included). It seems that I should use the configure script instead. The problem is, I have no experience using autoconf, automake or other such tools. Makefiles I am fairly comfortable with. I have new versions of both MinGW and MSYS installed on Win98. How does the configuring / compiling system work? Please give as precise instructions as possible. Thanks. Regards, Ville |
