I'm very interested with this idea, i probably could contribute to a "package installer". What about an attempt of standardization concerning packages places. I've personally adopted something like this : C:\GNU C:\GNU\Cygwin C:\GNU\Mingw (+MinGW's GDB) C:\GNU\msys C:\GNU\Win32 (a place for native win32 ports) Is it stupid or intelligent ? Regards, Manu. |
