[Mingw-users] Compiler Build Problem

I was not able to build the mingw compiler.
First I started configure.bat winnt i386.
This should create a compatible makefile.
Than I started make.exe and got the following errormessage:

Makefile:118: *** missing separator.  Stop.

Why?
