Category: gcc Group: Waiting User Response >Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: FriendFX (friendfx) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: internal compiler error: in rest_of_handle_final, at toplev. Initial Comment: I tried to compile a small Qt hello world program with Dev-C++. My Dev-C++ version is 4.9.9.2. My Qt version is 2.3.0 Non-Commercial. I have attached my main.cpp file. When I try to compile it, the compiler gives the following message: --- Compiler: Default compiler Building Makefile: "C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\chris\Eigene Dateien\Engineering\CPP\QTTest1\Makefile.win" Executing make clean rm -f main.o QTTest1.exe g++.exe -c main.cpp -o main.o -I"C:/Programme/Engineering/Dev-Cpp/include/c++" -I"C:/Programme/Engineering/Dev-Cpp/include" -I"C:/Programme/Engineering/qt/include" C:/Programme/Engineering/qt/include/qstring.h: In destructor `QString::~QString()': C:/Programme/Engineering/qt/include/qstring.h:654: internal compiler error: in rest_of_handle_final, at toplev.c:2064 Please submit a full bug report, with preprocessed source if appropriate. See <URL:http://www.mingw.org/bugs.shtml> for instructions. make.exe: *** [main.o] Error 1 Execution terminated --- Regards Christian ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: FriendFX (friendfx) Date: 2006-03-17 18:44 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1292304 I'm sorry for the inconvenience... ...what Melchior said, seems true to me. Here is what I found out: My OS is Windows 2000 SP4. The output of gcc -v is: Reading specs from ../lib/gcc/mingw32/3.4.2/specs Configured with: ../gcc/configure --with-gcc --with-gnu-ld --with-gnu-as --host= mingw32 --target=mingw32 --prefix=/mingw --enable-threads --disable-nls --enable -languages=c,c++,f77,ada,objc,java --disable-win32-registry --disable-shared --e nable-sjlj-exceptions --enable-libgcj --disable-java-awt --without-x --enable-ja va-gc=boehm --disable-libgcj-debug --enable-interpreter --enable-hash-synchroniz ation --enable-libstdcxx-debug Thread model: win32 gcc version 3.4.2 (mingw-special) ld -v gives me the following: GNU ld version 2.15.91 20040904 I found no installer package version (maybe because it was inside the Dev-C++ installer?). The output of uname -a is: CYGWIN_NT-5.0 duron 1.5.7(0.109/3/2) 2004-01-30 19:32 i686 unknown unknown Cygwin I found the number 3.7 inside the _mingw.h file... I hope, this is the one you are looking for. 3.2 seems to me the version inside w32api.h. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Melchior (joe_devore) Date: 2006-03-17 17:58 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=630717 Since I am forced to use Dev-C++ as well, (v4.9.9.2), as a subtitute for MS VC++. Here is the Info I have on the GCC version Info, If he is using the Default Install, It should be the same as me: -------------------------- gcc --> 3.4.2-20040916-1 g++ --> 3.4.2-20040916-1 GNU ld v2.15.91 20040904 MinGW runtime v3.9 -------------------------- Since no NEW Devpacks have been released for the MinGW GCC sets I have net to update my Install.. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Earnie Boyd (earnie) Date: 2006-03-16 15:56 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=15438 Did you read the documentation on http://www.mingw.org/bugs.shtml? You don't provide the information requested. We don't care about the dev-cpp version we don't develop that and we don't know which version of gcc and ld it contains. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=102435&aid=1450781&group_id=2435 |
