I am new to windows, but have experience programming in both mac and linux. I installed the latest snapshot from the website (2.95.3-4) and wrote the following BAT to setup the environment: SET PATH=%PATH%;c:\progra~1\vide;d:\mingw\bin SET COMPILER_PATH=d:\mingw\lib\gcc-lib\mingw32\2.95.3-4 SET LIBRARY_PATH=d:\mingw\lib SET C_INCLUDE_PATH=d:\mingw\include SET CPLUS_INCLUDE_PATH=%C_INCLUDE_PATH% command.com then type "gcc hello.c" at the prompt, and get the following error: GCC.EXE: Installation Problem, cannot exec d:/mingw/lib/gcc-lib/mingw32/2.95.3-4/cpp0.exe": No such file or directory. the file d:\mingw\lib\gcc-lib\mingw32\2.95.3-4\cpp0.exe does exist, but the compiler seems to have /'s instead of \'s. Any advice on how to solve this? _______________________________________________________ The FREE service that prevents junk email http://www.mailshell.com |
