dear list has anyone successfully created his own fdb fonts with ttf2fft and makefd= b? we have problems converting a ttf including special chars (like =E9 =E4 =F1 ) to a fdb file. we don't know in which conversion the=20 characters get lost - from ttf/fft or fft/fdb. we have tried the roman and unicode parameter: with roman the special=20 chars get lost, with unicode all characters, even normal ones, turn into=20 funny shapes. is there more documentation on ttf2fft then in the ming wiki? : http://www.opaque.net/wiki/index.php?ttf2fft does anyone have a hint as to what we could try next? does anyone know where one could get working .fdb files from the websave=20 fonts that ship with any os (verdana bold in particular)? thanks for your replies and kind regards roman |
