The package: chngpage.sty can do the trick.

\begin{adjustwidth}[]{}{-\marginwidth}
graphics
\end{adjustwidth}

which works inside table and figure environments too

Before that you have to define:
\newlength{\marginwidth}
\setlength{\marginwidth}{\marginparwidth}
\addtolength{\marginwidth}{\marginparsep}

and to be sure it all actually works you have to use the strict option:

\usepackage[strict]{chngpage}
