[MiKTeX] Problem with hyperref

I use MikTeX 2.9. Now, according to the requirements of an AIMS journal, 
I should use package hyperref. I obtain 27 warnings of the type

Package hyperref Warning: Token not allowed in a PDF string 
(PDFDocEncoding):
(hyperref)                removing `\omega' on input line 512.

I do not know what to do and need help. Thank you in advance.
