[MiKTeX] ! LaTeX Error: File `uni-global.def' not found.

Hello everybody,

I have a big problem when compiling latex documents on my new Laptop:
-Windows Vista
-Texnixcenter / TeXworks
-Miktex 2.9

Both editors fail to compile valid .tex files and return the error message:


! LaTeX Error: File `uni-global.def' not found.


I tried a lot of things, also copying the whole Miktex folder from 
another working station to this laptop, but without any result.

Do you have ideas to solve this? I have to submit my thesis in the next 
days :(
