Hi, some days ago I reinstalled MiKTeX 2.9, now I did it as regular user. Today I've seen that MiKTeX Settings-Roots doesn't allow me to change the order of root directories. The order shown is: nothing until "Show MiKTeX-maintained root directories" is selected, then 1.-D:\Documents and Settings\user\Datos de programa\MikteX\2.9 (UserConfig) 2.-D:\Documents and Settings\user\Configuración local\MikteX\2.9 (UserData) 3.-D:\MikTeX2.9 (UserInstall) 4.-D:\Documents and Settings\All users.windows\Datos de programa\MikteX\2.9 (CommonData, CommonConfig) 5.-D:\localtexmf 6.-D:\Archivos de programa\MikteX 2.9 (CommonINstall) 3 is the new folder for miktex and 6 was the previous one. 5 is my local folder with private packages and unstable versions. I did not explicity add it to the list and I would like to be in upper positions. I would like to know how to 'repair' it. If I must uninstall and install again I would like to now how to do it. Which folders or file should I completely remove before a fresh install? Thank you, Ignasi |
