[MiKTeX] Problem with pst-3dplot.tex

I am using WinEdt/MiKTeX on a Windows XP SP3 machine.  Recently (I think after the last update that touched pst-3dplot) I get an error mwessage every time I try to include the package (usepackage{pstricks,pst-3dplot)

! LaTeX Error: File 'pst-3dplot.tex" not found

I have used the package browser.  It thinks that the pst-3dplot PACKAGE is present.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the package using the package browser, but with no luck.  I ulso completely uninstalled MiKTex and re-downloaded/installed but with the same result

If I put the three files associated with the package (the .tex, .pro and .sty files) into the current document folder (the one that has my LaTeX .tex file) everything is fine

When I search for the pst-3dplot.tex file, I fine a copy only in "C:\programs\miktex2.7\sources"

I am thinking that there is a problem with the installation of the package, but don not know what it is

Any help would be appreciated
