[MiKTeX] Updating Map file

Dear Sir, 
 
I am using MikTeX2.6 with Windows XP. 
Recently I downloaded Tamil-Omega package 
to typeset in Tamil language. 
 
1. From the command prompt, I gave 
	initexmf --config-file updmap 
   Automatically a file opened up in Notepad.  
 
 
2. I added the following line at the end, 
		Map tamil.map 
    saved the file and exit-ed Notepad. 
 
3. Then I gave the command 
 
	initexmf --mkmaps 
   to rebuild the psfonts.map. And then I 
   encountered the following problem. 
 
    "Permission Denied" 
 
Kindly help me.
