Hi,
I am having an interesting issue related to Offline Files in Vista.
I'm using MikTeX 2.7 on my laptop, which uses offline files/sync center
in Vista to synchronise with my network drive.
If my laptop is connected to the network, complete with VPN, then "latex
optmas1.tex" will happily compile my file.
If I then disconnect it and run the same command I don't have any problems.
However if I delete my aux file then try to run "latex optmas1.tex" I
get the following error:
("C:\Program Files\MiKTeX 2,7\tex\latex\ae\t1aer.fd")))latex: Windows
API error 4350: This file is currently not available for use on this
computer.
I can't get past this until I reconnect to the network, at which point
the problem simply goes away.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
David
