[MiKTeX] Memory Size

miktex seems to run with a 1,500,000 word memory size.  Can it
be made bigger?  Or is a word 4 bytes, implying 6,000,000 bytes,
beyond my machine capacity?  I have been generating 6,000 page
pdf reports with miktex (have not found any other system even close),
but would like to increase the size.
