Hi, I'm new to latex and friends...and I am trying to typeset biblical hebrew using Makor found on CTAN. It's not a package proposed by Miktex (maybe it should ...) so I installed it in respect of the TDS and update the file name database of mikteX. Then i tried to process a little document to see the result. It uses omega/lambda to produce dvi. The dvi is produce correctly and i can make a ps/pdf file from it. But when i want to see the dvi with yap, it cannot find the file of a font. Somebody on the TUG omega mail list advise me to use odvips to "take off virtual font" so even if i don't know how to use it i lokked for this .exe in the miktex bin but couldn't find it. Why isn't this programm in the directory of miktex, it doesn't seem to be a very new package ? Is there something equivalent, the case this package doesn't respect the Debian guideline (yes i've read the faq :)) ? I search the mailling list, the forum about odvips but couldn't find anything about it. The case I'm completly wrong in my diagnostic could you tell me why yap could possibly not find a font if the package with still a correct dvi produced ? Thanks for paying attention to this, Regards -- Samuel SAYAG |
