Actually, I just figured out there is: from the command line

mpm --pick-repository-url

picks a repo at random. However, if you try this and specify a package 
to install -

e.g., mpm --pick-repository-url --package=<package name>


you get a

mpm: login denied


error message (I tried running the command about 25 times - each time 
picking a different repo at random, and every time, I get the 'login 
denied' error).
