Hello all, I am rather new at Latex and have chosen MikTex and TexnicCenter (under MS) as a starting point. I have a problem with installing new packages: I downloaded a package from CTAN, that wasn't originally included (latin modern), put it into a "downloaded_packages" folder for the moment, and extracted the archive. Now, how do I tell Miktex (2.5) where the package is ?? I choose "Package shall be installed from a directory", but where shall I point to ? What folder in the tree build when unzipping the archive ? Of course, I could try'em all, but, something particularly annoying, you have to restart the whole path exploration by hand, no way to paste the path directly in the message box ! Or is there a place where I can copy the tree so it can find it alone ? Anyhow, thank you all for the great tool ! |
