 I have just installed Winedt 5.5 and all is ok with Miktex 2.5. Winedt
Build: 20061213  (v. 5.5)

Dear Friends:
I have just installed MikTex 2.5 (late, yes I know!).  Putting the line

[TeX]
Editor=3D"C:\Program Files\WinEdt Team\WinEdt\winedt.exe"=20
"[Open('%f');SelPar(%l,7)]"

in a \localtexmf\miktex\config\miktex.ini file used to result in miktex=20
calling winedt, instead of notepad, when you hit e during compilation.=20
This no longer appears to work.  Can anyone help?  ......Edgar
