The arydshln package is also part of the complete miktex distribution and i've read the doc and it is what i've meant however i'm currently contemplating if i'm going to use bad style and insert the dashed line or if i'm gona trust the intellegence of the intended reader and leave it as it is (without the lines). I've tried it quickly and it works and gives the result i've intended however it is not compatible with longtable and the array package. (not looked into it intensively maybe there is a workaround) For the moment i keep it at good style and not use the arydshln package.
