Greetings, You can edit the loan product details to modify the grace period duration. This is done from the Admin section of Mifos. For the loan you describe below, you could set the grace period to zero and your repayment schedule would begin on the next meeting. Hope that helps, Jeff From: Dusmant Kumar [mailto:du...@ad...] Sent: Saturday, March 28, 2009 1:11 AM To: mif...@li...; Emily Tucker Subject: [Mifos-users] Problem in Repayment schedule creation Dear Emily First I am very much thankful to you for ur quick response to the queries. I am having some problem in disbursing loans and creating the repayment schedule. The repayment schedule is expected to start from the next week from the disbursement week. But in Mifos it gives one week grace and the repayment is collected from the 2nd week from the disbursement. In my case I disbursed the loan on 10-Dec-2008(Wednessday) to the a center whose meeting day is Monday. (Here the disbursement is done on a non-meeting day). The schecdule is expected to strat from 15-Dec-2009(Monday) but in mifos the schedule has started from 22-Dec-2009(Monday). Please suggest me how to resolve these issues. -- Thanks & Regards ------------------------------------------------------ Dusmant Kumar Sahu Programmer Executive MIS Adhikar Microfinance Pvt. Ltd.
