That is a real problem, and it would be great if Lumenera would share 
the source code for their Device adapter code with us so that you can 
use it with any new version of MM.

It does look like Lumenera plugin v. 1.3.0 works with Micro-Manager 
1.4.23 1090429, which is a lot newer than 1.4.2 (see 
https://www.lumenera.com/support/microscopy/drivers-downloads/micro-manager-plug-in.html), 
so you could at least try with that version of MM.
