Nothing has changed with respect to TetheredCam in many, many years.  In 
fact, that code is unmaintained.  If you remember which MM version you 
used in the past, you can download that one, and see if it performs 
better.  My suspicion is that the BreezeSys drivers changed (and our 
source code would need to be made work with those newer driver by 
someone interested in taking on that task), but alternative explanations 
are totally possible.
