MM2.0 should have exactly the same hardware control logic as MM1.4; the changes in 2.0 have been entirely in the Java layer, to update our user interface and data handling. If there's been a change in hardware support, then we need to track it down. Unfortunately it looks like your config file attachment didn't make it through. Perhaps you could upload it to a "pastebin" site, like http://pastebin.com/ , and then share the link with us? It would also be great if you could generate a Problem Report. Problem Reports include a detailed breakdown of what the software is doing at any moment, and are invaluable for debugging issues like these. Go to the Help menu, select "Report Problem", and then click "Generate Report" in the dialog. Then run µManager as usual until it crashes. Once it crashes, restart it, and select the "Reopen" option in the dialog that pops up. Finally, click the "View Report" button, copy the contents, and share them with us. > > Hope you could help, cause, for example the new "pause acquisition" would > be a must in our case, > The Pause Acquisition button has been available in 1.4 for some time now. What version of 1.4 were you using previously? -Chris |
