Arnold,
In order for the micromanager to work with a camera, it needs a dll
file that is called "adapter" by micromanager. It is kind of like the
connection between micromanager and the actual proprietary driver provided
by JAI. The cfg file is for the user to instruct micromanager which camera
to open and how. I am not a developer, so this is just my imperfect
understanding. I looked at my old correspondence with the author of the
driver, and also looked at the source code of the current release. The
problem I had is already fixed in the current release. I will forward my
correspondence to you in a separate email.
Still I am not sure if that is the same problem as you are
experiencing. Just in case, I am attaching my cfg file and the dll file I
am using. Both should be placed under the installation directory of
micromanager.
Sorry for not being able to find the root cause. Hopefully other forum
members could offer some advice. By the way, it would help the developers
to troubleshoot the problem if you attach the log file after turning on
debug mode.
Best,
Liu Yu
