Hi Pariksheet, The main reason for updating to the latest version of Java was that we thought that Java was the issue, and hadn't updated it for a long time. We are using QiClick Mono 12 bit cameras, using - Belkin fire wire 6-port hubs Belkin fire wire notebook adapter for the E5510 and Startech 2 port express card 1394b fire wire card for the Lenovo and Dell. I had a word with our computer services who got in contact with Dell technical support, regarding the E5510 with a reply that the laptops are old and the options can't be added and according to Dell engineers there are no way to work around this to disable the c states power. and there is no option to change the setting on the E 5510 Having not being able to disable the c states power on that laptop and the computer crashed whilst running Micromanager we assumed that the final step would help rectify the issue, but according to Dell this can't be done....anyway around this, or are they simply saying it can't be done because the machine is old and out of warranty? The puzzling thing is that the E5510 used to work fine up until now, could it be that it doesn't like the latest version of Micromanager? The cameras work fine on on 3 laptops.....just seems to be the software that is running them Regards Dan On 2014-08-20 04:29, Pariksheet Nanda wrote: > Hi Dan, > > Thanks for the explanations.
