Thank you for the log files. I realize that the error is occurring
when you run a Live acquisition. Does the Snap button work at all?
(Sorry if you mentioned this and I missed it.) If snapping is also not
working, it will be a lot easier to start troubleshooting that first.

the live acquisition that is not properly reported and is likely the
root cause of the messages seen in the log. I've added a few lines of
code so that this error should show up in the log. Would you mind
trying once more with today's (20130830) nightly build?

Also, I notice that your camera is a color camera. As you can tell
from the earlier messages in this thread, the Micro-Manager Windows
device adapter for SPOT does not yet support color cameras (though I
don't know if that is related to your error). It looks like SPOT might
have a new SDK out for Windows since those messages, so I'll see if
there is any possibility of now transplanting the Mac code (which does
support color cameras) -- but I can't promise anything.
