Hi Mhash-devel, I am reporting problem I have doing "make check" on mhash-0.9.6. The new version of mhash compiles clean on Solaris 10 Sparc platform. However, it does not pass make check. The first test it fails is from the third test on SHA1 of hash_test.sh. The driver cores. Running the driver by hand works, for example: temp@temp1:/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/src> perl -e 'print "a"x1000000' | ./driver SHA1 34AA973CD4C4DAA4F61EEB2BDBAD27316534016F I have tested compiling mhash-0.9.6 on Solaris 9 x86 and make check works on that platform. And at the same time it does not work on Solaris 9 Sparc. Mhash 0.9.2 test suite works fine on Solaris 10. output of make check: Making check in include gmake[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/include' gmake[1]: Nothing to be done for `check'. gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/include' Making check in lib gmake[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/lib' gmake[1]: Nothing to be done for `check'. gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/lib' Making check in doc gmake[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/doc' gmake[1]: Nothing to be done for `check'. gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/doc' Making check in src gmake[1]: Entering directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/src' gmake check-TESTS gmake[2]: Entering directory `/tmp/temp/mhash-0.9.6/src' testing CRC32 . testing CRC32B . testing MD5 ....... testing SHA1 ..This algorithm (SHA1) is not available! testing HAVAL256 .. testing HAVAL224 . testing HAVAL192 . testing HAVAL160 . testing HAVAL128 . testing RIPEMD128 ........This algorithm (RIPEMD128) is not available! testing RIPEMD160 ........This algorithm (RIPEMD160) is not available! testing RIPEMD256 ........This algorithm (RIPEMD256) is not available! testing RIPEMD320 ........This algorithm (RIPEMD320) is not available! testing TIGER ........ testing TIGER160 ..... testing TIGER128 ... testing GOST .. testing MD4 ....... testing SHA256 ...This algorithm (SHA256) is not available! testing SHA224 ..This algorithm (SHA224) is not available! testing SHA512 ..This algorithm (SHA512) is not available! testing SHA384 ..This algorithm (SHA384) is not available! testing WHIRLPOOL This algorithm (WHIRLPOOL) is not available!
