TVDb has removed their v1 and v2 api access. v4 is a pay model that we haven't incorporated.
For the time being, switch your shows over to TMBd to scrape new Series and existing Episodes.

For TV series, right click the series and select Switch series scraper to TMDb
This will scrape the TMDb ID for the series and from then scrape the episodes from TMDb.
You can also do this in Bulk from the Folders tab, by changing the root folder source from TVDB to TMDb.
If doing a Bulk change, please use Batch rescrape wizard and select TMDB Id for Series as well as Episodes and let the wizard run.

problems in adding a new TV series, it will not scrape unless you manully unlock the show then add the ID number from IMDB and TVDB into Media Companion and if the show has not been entered on the TVDB website the show will not scapre with the IMDB alone

i can confirm switching to TMDB allows me to add new tv shows, and also scrape new episodes of existing shows. TVDB will not be functional until the devs add support for the new API

when a folder is added to the libaray it can be only scraped by TVDB also if you wanting to manually seach for the new TV it fails to scrape because the TVDB is the only option on that method of adding a new TV show. when the folder is adding to the list it will have a red cross and locked . i have to unlock all TV shows. enter the IMDB and TVDB ID to the show, then pick scrape with TMDB add that ID number. then the show sucessfully scrapes into the libarary . TMDB needs to replace the TVDB on the first scrape when adding new titles. tv series thaty have been priovisly scraped by the old method of using TVDB works fine

when i do this without doing what i said. it brings an error up i cant recall but invlid object or something along the lines. my only soultion is doing it like a surgested in the last post. unlocking all TV shows, then manually entering TVDB ID and the IMDB ID numbers . then i can search for new episodes. at this time all goes well it seems to scape the epsidoe list but no season or TV show ID or info. what i have to do after this is switch scrapper to TMDB and it scrapes as required. if i dont do all this and try to swap scrapers to TMDB it gives me invalid object error an closes
