Current version of Meanwhile on gaim does not appear
to support receiving (or sending) Sametime
announcements. Consequence is that various
processes that use the announcement (instead of a
regular IM) are not received by Meanwhile users.
I went looking for this feature in the standard client and
got some traces of sending and receiving announcements.
They're pretty trivial, and I think I can fit them into the
next release while waiting for feedback on another change.
This is a change in both meanwhile and gaim-meanwhile.
