Hello! I am having trouble binding the arrow (→ ←) keys. MComix only allow me to bind "shift + left", but do not allow me to bind only "left" or "right" keys. Could you please fix this? (MComix 3.1.0/Win10)

I mean assign the arrow keys to "Next page (dynamic)"

Unfortunately, for technical reasons, binding keys via the GUI is somewhat limited at the moment, as you have noticed. Luckily, there is a workaround. You should find the keybindings.conf file somewhere in your user directory. (I do not use Windows so I do not know the specific path. It is probably somewhere below AppData or similar, but I am not sure.) There, you can change the key bindings directly.

However, you should make sure to close all MComix instances beforehand, otherwise, the file will get overwritten. Also, creating a copy of that file as a backup is probably a good idea, too.

The "Customizing hotkeys" section in the wiki page might also help: [Keybindings]

    I hope that helps.

That's great! Do you mind sharing with us the location where inside your home folder you have found the config file? This might also help other users with similar questions. Thank you in advance.

I apologize for necroposting, but I'm having the same issue and editing keybinds.conf manually has no effect, the keybindings still do not work. I'm on Arch Linux and installed with the AUR version of 'mcomix'. I changed keybindings.conf and when I open the keybinding section of the menu, it appears that it recognized my change, but the arrow keys do nothing in the actual comic reading.
