[Matplotlib-users] Build problems under Linux - swig_runtime.h error

After upgrading to the latest Mandriva Linux I can no longer compile 
Matplotlib. The following error occurs:

This happens with all of 0.98.5.2, 0.98.5.3 and svn versions of 
matplotlib.
