[Matplotlib-users] Removing buttons from the toolbar in MPL backends

Dear ALL,

Is there any way to exclude (ie., make invlsible) one or more of the
standard buttons which appear on the toolbar (either the "Classic" or
the "Toolbar2") of the MPL backends?
