Hi to all,
I’m new on this mailing list, and I’m here for have some suggest and
feedback on “my” request to add a path to mantis.

“my” is in quotes because the starting modification is not my, you can see
on bug #9716 https://www.mantisbt.org/bugs/view.php?id=9716.

in the last message vboctor write something to me, I think here is more
appropriate for discussion, but if I’m wrong, I rewrite it on the PR.

I’m sorry my english is not the best if I don’t understand wrong your
meaning … sure the user experience is important and for avoid problem there
is a setting that for default make all change transparent to the user. Only
if you enable the setting the tags can split for projects.

I don’t think this change make any trouble for developer. The table tags
have one column more “project_id” that can not considerate for tags
report/graphs. The only thing that make a little uneasy is duplicate tag,
because several project can have the same tags.

I tag show in a filter depend on what you are watch.
1) If you are on a specific project you can filter for project and global
tags.
2) If you are on all projects you can filter for any tags.

Sorry I really don’t understand this. The change is one column, if you add
this column and you don’t use don’t make any problem.
The column have a default that the tags is global. If u roll-back mantis to
a previous version you need only to remove the column and nothing happen.

I just clean my brach on git I wait to push it because the only why I found
to do that is to make an other pull-request. do you have any suggestion?

I know my code is not very beautiful, and I’m sorry for that … I’m java
developer and not php developer than if you have any suggest on the code is
appreciate.
