In this context, "the item" relates to the theme being purchased. And if the theme being purchased is under the GPL. I'm reading that as it is not a grant to license the theme under the GPL. If the theme was under the GPL, you could use the files from mantis in another GPL project without ever buying a license from the original theme author.. Paul |
