What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select a part of a page in Firefox
2. Press Win+PrintScreen
Or
1. Select a file in File Explorer
2. Press Win+PrintScreen
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the new mail window.
I got the attached message requesting to allow access to outlook.
And then, the new mail never comes.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MailNoter 1.01 on WinXP with Outlook 2007 and Trend Micro OfficeScan
Please provide any additional information below.
From Firefox, the "Send a page link" command creates correctly the new mail
window. (This append without the Allow Acccess popup)
I play with Security Options in Outlook without success.

Unfortunately, I don't have Outlook available to test and fix this.
Maybe someone else can debug this problem?

Can you try the attached version please?
Note: I'm using Thunderbird, which causes no problems at all. But I just tried
Windows Live Mail and that one does not interpret html content correctly. I had to
add an option to have html content added as an attachment - you might need to do that
too for Outlook, not sure though.

Thanks for your reaction. This tool seems exactly what I was looking for.
However, I have no more the access popup, but no new mail also.
It's like nothing happen.
Do you know a tool to catch the key press or know its association ?

Well, the hotkey is working, otherwise you wouldn't have got the popup with the
released version.
As for no mail coming up, I have no idea why. I've tried with Thunderbird and Windows
Live Mail, both work fine.
Can you try setting Outlook as the default mail client (maybe again so the
registering as the default client is done again)?

Definitively, this is linked to Outlook 2007 (or its security policy).
I switched to Outlook Express and get it work (except for the html stuff ;-) )
Going back to Outlook 2007 and get same results as before:
- popup with your offcial version
- nothing with your test version
Thanks for the support.
I'll may look at the source code.

I also had the same issue using Outlook 2007 on Vista Business Sp1. I found this
