My take is that this will be fine, so long as swish-e is really ready for production use. Last time I looked it was definitely in a beta state, and I ran into problems with it on large codebases (600MB plus). So I'd like to see some evidence that it can handle that sort of load before we remove glimpse support. If you wanted to add the additional features conditionally on swish-e presence then that would be totally fine.
