Just a note: USB Audio Codec is not unusual for devices running with the standard driver.
Since it seems there are two devices, one for input only and the other for output only, I would test input from Behringer, and builtin output (headphones in the mac out socket), avoiding aggregations. This to simplify the setting.

Hi, i have the same issue. I have a Macbook Pro 2019 (usb-c with adapter) with Behringer UMC22. In Garageband works well, but i can´t use it in Jamulus.
Did you solve the problem?
Thanks
Pablo

Hi Pablo, in a word..no. I've given up now as when the rules changed here (UK) and upto six people could meet outside on your garden/drive/yard or whatever it meant that our 5 piece jazz band could rehearse together, socially distanced of course, face to face. no more trying to get the system to work.
Good luck.
Incidently, I also use the the UM2 with GarageBand on my ipad using an apple ipad to usb dongle.

A thought: my friend with a Behringer UCG102 cannot use a mic connected to the UCG102, because the headphone jack on the UCG102 is OUT ONLY, not also IN. It's designed for a 3-wire headphone, not a 4-wire (aka, with mic) headphone/earbuds. So he can plug in his bass and play it to Jamulus, and hear the Jamulus server sound in the headphones, but the mic on his headphones does nothing. When he wants to talk to us, he has to use the built-in mic in his laptop.
Maybe the UMC22 has the same limitation? By definition, any headphone jack is OUT only, so if you're got headphones with integrated mic plugged into the headphone jack of the UMC22, the mic is very unlikely to work (with Jamulus or any application).

Thanks Chris! but it didn´t mention headphone jack, i use input jack of UCM22 and connect to Macbook by the USB Port.
The "meters" of jamulus don´t move.
Works well in GarageBand, but can´t use on Jamulus.
Do you know another jam online software for free?
Thanks.
Pablo

I realize this is an old thread, but here's my experience with the UM2 and Jamulus on a Mac. First off, my Mac has a dock extension, so I have a USB Audio Codec 1/2 normally. When plugging in the UM2, a second set of "USB Audio Codec" devices (in/out) were created. Jamulus worked, but there was a ton of popping and crackling regardless of settings or servers (48K was configured). The ONLY way that I got it to work "well" was to create an aggregate audio device and carefully include only the second set of USB Audio Codec 1/2 devices that related to the UM2. Then, in Jamulus, choose the in:Aggregate/out:Aggregate.
I haven't been able to learn why this was necessary. Frankly, it shouldn't be this hard and I'm not sure why the UM2 doesn't properly identify itself in the device list. I was buying this for a different band member who is not technically inclined and I'm not sure they would be able to do this.
Nevertheless, I did ultimately get it to work but I still think I'm going to swap it out for a Presonus or Scarlett Solo.

Yes, and it did work better without (no need for aggregate device) but not perfectly. Sadly it is the dock that provides my hard-wired network connection so not using it isn't really an option (although my non-dock test did use a simple usb/ethernet dongle). Further, there is no way to disable whatever 'feature' on the dock is creating the USB Audio codecs to be loaded.
Perhaps there is some deep issue having two instances of the same driver (the generic compliant driver, I believe) for different devices or something like that. Pretty much everyone who needs to hardwire a macbook pro/air will need some type of dock or dongle. Mine provides ethernet, video, and usb via a display port/thunderbolt connection. My mbpro is 2014 High Sierra.
My point in offering this info up is that maybe others with older MBP might benefit from my experiences.

Thanks Vincenzo. This is the first attempt I made to get a result, and as I have said before, it works perfectly well with GarageBand.
Cheers ;-)

Did you try without the dock attached? Just to sort out a possible incompatibility.
