Simply put, nothing works. I have a Bamboo Capture with the wireless addon. The stock drivers work best, but only for wired use. I followed a few guides, most entirely the same with slightly more detail in different parts. I use Ubuntu 12.04 LTS. Upon installiing all the driver parts, the tablet was not recognized at all. Then I followed a guide to force recognition and settings. turning on my tablet now results a full system crash that requires a hardboot.

Do you still have the issue? If yes, please tell us the kernel version and the steps you used to install the new drivers.

I have an Intuos 5 now. I never found a solution, but I can't reproduce it anymore either
