YEW CLAIMS

The Yew Claims are located on Texada Island, B.C. This region has a long
history of mining dating back to 1876. Several high grade copper gold
skarns were mined in the area. The geology of the Yew Claims is set out
in MINFILE 092F/516 as follows:

"The area is dominated by Upper Triassic Karmutsen Formation (Vancouver Group)
volcanic rocks consisting of typically fine-grained and/or feldspar phyric
basalts and amygdaloidal basalts with minor intercalated limestone beds.
At the Yew occurrence, stratigraphy is comprised of three rock units of the
Karmutsen Formation. A lower, thick series of green-grey basalt flows that
texturally change from amygdaloidal and non-amygdaloidal sequences, is overlain
by a thin, white-grey fine-grained limestone that rapidly thins and thickens
over short distances. Overlying the limestone is an amygdaloidal basalt breccia
with fragments of amygdaloidal basalt up to 15 centimetres. White zeolites,
epidote, pyrite, quartz and chlorite comprise vesicle fillings within the basalts.
Two hundred metres north of the occurrence, two small diorite plugs intrude the basalts.

The debian linux-image-2.6.15-1-apus kernel should work on your system, as
should the debian/sarge included installer. Not sure about the special
hardware, but i helped install sarge on a A1200 recently, and i believe the
2.6.14/2.6.15 apus kernels do work, and will be integrating the apus kernels
into the etch debian installer nextly.

This is i believe your best guess for installation, altough i have not tried
to do so myself, my BlizzardPPC card gotting lost at DCE last year.

I would really like to install PPC-Linux on my A4000, but unfortunately I don't manage to get
a display on my screen. I tested several vmlinux-kernels with bootstrap, but they all refuse
to work with the graphic-cards installed in my system. those are a picasso 4 and a voodoo 3,
the last one with the mediator pci-bridge in an modified a4000 desktop (mirage tower).

so my question is, if there is any ppc-kernel outside, which works with the mediator pci + voodoo 3
and/or the picasso 4 (installed on an elbox busboard). whenever I tried to use the clgen-option in
the start-skript, I only get a flickering and unreadable (AGA-)output through the Monitor connected
to the amigas rgb-port. only the pal-script seems to work, but this is not a solution for daily work.

the only wish I have, is that it should be a ppc-solution. unimportant, wether redhat, eagle, mandrake,
yellowdog, debian or something else (excluded netbsd, I prefer Linux).

the last vmlinux i tried, was version 2.2.10 (28.02.2000) from
www.olliweb.de, tested several configurations (generic, picasso 4, with and
without scsi) from there.

any hints (and kernels ... ;-) are welcome.

by the way: is there up to now any kernel available, which allows the usage of the FastATA IDE (both ports)?
For now, I still have a harddisk and a CDR at the a4000's internal IDE, but FastATA would be more comfortable

has entered into a termination and release agreement converting

3.5 year-old debt to Syntek Capital. The conversion of this debt

--UBA Technology Inc. (Pink Sheets:UBTA - News) is targeting land-based casinos as a new
market for its proprietary betting exchange software.


UBA has commenced negotiations to install its betting exchange software, in stand-alone self operating kiosks, at traditional land-based casino locations.

In November 2002, the Las Vegas Sun reported that gaming regulators in Nevada had approved a sports- and race-betting kiosk concept, which operates similarly to an automatic teller machine. The kiosk will provide larger casinos an opportunity to increase their sports-betting volume by strategically placing the kiosks in well-travelled casino areas. These betting systems have the potential to include wireless devices, allowing casino gamblers to place bets poolside, or from their hotel rooms.

With high-speed broadband and wireless services now available on a global basis, UBA is well positioned to market its betting exchange platform to qualified online operators. This software would give online operators the ability to generate additional income streams from their current casino and poker clientele.

Juniper Research estimates that mobile gambling will be a US$16.6 billion business by 2008. Geographical and cultural forces are also at work on these projections, particularly in the Asia-Pacific regions (driven largely by China). The popularity of gambling, coupled with the rapid growth in mobile phone penetration in the next five years, should assist UBA in its plans to leverage its internet-based betting exchange client base.

--UBA Technology Inc. (Pink Sheets:UBTA - News) is targeting land-based casinos as a new
market for its proprietary betting exchange software.


UBA has commenced negotiations to install its betting exchange software, in stand-alone self operating kiosks, at traditional land-based casino locations.

In November 2002, the Las Vegas Sun reported that gaming regulators in Nevada had approved a sports- and race-betting kiosk concept, which operates similarly to an automatic teller machine. The kiosk will provide larger casinos an opportunity to increase their sports-betting volume by strategically placing the kiosks in well-travelled casino areas. These betting systems have the potential to include wireless devices, allowing casino gamblers to place bets poolside, or from their hotel rooms.

With high-speed broadband and wireless services now available on a global basis, UBA is well positioned to market its betting exchange platform to qualified online operators. This software would give online operators the ability to generate additional income streams from their current casino and poker clientele.

Juniper Research estimates that mobile gambling will be a US$16.6 billion business by 2008. Geographical and cultural forces are also at work on these projections, particularly in the Asia-Pacific regions (driven largely by China). The popularity of gambling, coupled with the rapid growth in mobile phone penetration in the next five years, should assist UBA in its plans to leverage its internet-based betting exchange client base.

KOKO Petroleum, Inc. (KKPT) issued an update on its working interest investment in two wells in the prolific Barnett Shale Play located in northern Texas.

Under the terms of the participation agreement with Rife Energy Operating, Inc. (the program's operator), KOKO Petroleum has acquired a minority working interests (approx. 10%) in the drilling and completion of two wells; the Boyd #1 and the Inglish #2 both of which have been drilled but not yet completed. The operator is in the process of setting casing on the Inglish 2 and the Boyd is awaiting a sufficient water supply to start the completion.

Due to the heavy influx of major operators in the area (Encana and XTO), scheduling completions and any other types of oil field services has been very difficult. Operators in the area have had to schedule well completions three to four months in advance. This coupled with the fact that Northern Texas has experienced a major drought causing serious shortfalls of local water. Rife, as an alternative, has drilled a water well, which was the source of drilling water for the Inglish 2 and Boyd 1. Rife has five wells that have been drilled and are awaiting completions.

The Barnett Shale is the largest natural gas play in Texas. It is presently producing 900 MMCF of gas per day and is considered one of the largest U.S. domestic natural gas plays with sizable, remaining resource potential. The first Barnett Shale wells were drilled and completed in the early 1980s by Mitchell Energy of Houston, Texas. According to an in-depth 2004 sector report on the Barnett Shale, developed by Morgan Stanley (MWD), the Barnett Shale play is estimated to hold reserves in the non-core area that could be as high as 150 BCF per 1,000 acres. The report estimated that because of the amount of gas available in the area, successful wells in the Barnett Shale should be economically viable in almost any gas price environment.
"The well logs are very encouraging, as were the wells they offset. Our operator is very resourceful and we should have these wells completed by the end of the year," says Ted Kozub, President of KOKO Petroleum, Inc.

On the Corsicana front, KOKO and its Partner have applied for the drilling permits to commence the first 15 Nacatoch wells, casing is being delivered to the site and drilling will commence upon receipt of the permits.

China Digital Media Corporation Launches 
High Definition Television Broadcasting Service Trial

China Digital Media Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: CDGT - News) 
announced today that the company is cooperating with Nanhai Radio 
And Television Network Company to launch a high definition 
broadcast television trial (the "HDTV") program in Nanhai, Guangdong Province. 
Nanhai is one of the pilot cities to provide the HDTV service in China.
