Unfortunately I do not have any 2.4 kernel stuff for m68k and there was no response yet to my questions about it within different groups! But I'll try all the new 2.x APUS kernels when they appear (like yesterday)! All of the 2.4 kernels do the same (I already posted the output), out of the 2.4-test4. That kernel boots a line further (scsi: detected total)! And the power led is blinking with all those kernels! Please redirect that address to someone else, or preferrably, the APUS user mailing list (lin...@li...). I just got a ton of shit in the head from Kevin for forwarding his questions to someone who might bother answering them. I guess I'd better start redirecting mail from people who didn't RTFM and used the wrong address to /dev/null in the future to avoid flames like that again. Thanks, Jesper (Hi Kevin! Hi, I've just uploaded two new test kernels to http://sourceforge.net/projects/linux-apus/ There is a 2.4.0-test10 kernel for permedia2 user, it boots for me but I only get garbled output with the amifb, but as the 2.4.0 kernel works I didn't bother to check what's wrong. More interesting is of course the 2.4.0 kernel. The new pci code is probably broken, but I enabled the debug output, so please send me your dmesg output and I'll see what I can do. Ren=E9, I also included an improved version of the fastlane driver, maybe this one works. :) So please give it a try and enjoy the new wonderful world of 2.4. :-) bye, Roman |
