With LinkDir v3.0, we’ve rebuilt the script with PHP + HTML + HTMX to make it easier to install, manage, customize, and maintain — without getting buried in a complicated codebase.
The goal was simple: keep the directory features people loved in the older Laravel version, while making the script much more practical for everyday website owners.
What’s new in v3.0?
Built with PHP, HTML & HTMX
Easier installation
Simpler codebase to understand and manage
Lightweight and suitable for regular hosting
Easier customization
No need to deal with a complex Laravel setup
Keeps the core directory functionality from the previous version
If you’ve been looking for a simple self-hosted directory script that you can actually manage without being a full-time developer, LinkDir v3.0 is built with that idea in mind.
LinkDir v3.0 — the same directory idea, made simpler.
👉 Check out the new version and start building your own directory.

V 3.0 with less management of footer. Still you can edit the footer file and add remove by your own.
V 3.1 has more footer control (dynamic) and list entry limitation to set.
Note V 3.0 can be found on GitHub
