Hi LinEAK Developers! First of all: You've done a great job! Your Multimedia-Keyboard daemon worked very well for me and your documentation was good enough to help me build a keyboard definition for my keyboard. In your documentation you asked to send you the custom generated profile. So here it is: [A4-KLS-7MU] brandname = "A4Tech" modelname = "KLS-7MU" [KEYS] Back = 234 Forward = 233 Stop = 232 Refresh = 231 Home = 178 AudioMute = 160 AudioLowerVolume = 174 AudioRaiseVolume = 176 AudioPlay|Pause = 162 AudioStop = 164 AudioPrev = 144 AudioNext = 153 Search = 229 DigiCam = 230 Mail = 236 MyComputer = 235 Calculator = 161 [END KEYS] [END A4-KLS-7MU] Mail me if you have further questions! Bye, Ferdinand Kuhl |

Hi, In klineakconfig, the keyboard-config dialog is not properly resizable, causing problems to people using big fonts. Please find attached a patch to fix that. It has been done opening the .ui in Qt Designer, and selecting "Lay out in a grid". Bye, Aurelien -- .''`. hello! a question, is there any possibility to make lineak and the xosd-plugin work with non-ascii-chars? at the moment, if any non-ascii-char should be shown on the osd (for example a german umlaut), it just stops at this position (this happens with the amarok-plugin) or simply doesn't show the char (if written in a [] for a button in the ~/.lineak/lineakd.conf. regards, jozi --=20 ___________________________________________________ / Open-PGP key: \ | http://www.jozi.at/pub_keys/ | | or hkp://wwwkeys.eu.pgp.net | | id: 0x5CE4CC2D | | fingerprint: | \ 7043 2391 0922 8FAA 28AE F436 D26A 60F9 5CE4 CC2D / --------------------------------------------------- \ ,-^-. \ !oYo! \ /./=3D\.\______ ## )\/\ ||-----w|| || || (Cowth Vader) |

Added 3 keys. 2 still don't want to work, setkeycoding them gives strange=20 results. Right: even though you're saying "Hey! I'm telling you that you're 231!", it won't actually be 231. Use setkeycodes to set them to those values, then run xev and see the code you get from that. They'll be different: use them in the definition. - Alex On 7/12/06, Elmo Todurov <to...@gm...> wrote: > > + #Just a bunch of random keycodes. Hello, I've created a definition for my keyboard's multimedia keys. The excellent= support documentation on the lineak website is what allowed me to do this. Note that this keyboard's key mappings are identical to the BTC-8190, with = the exception of "Home". There also are not as many multimedia keys availa= ble on this keyboard, since it is designed to be compact. Image: http://www.btc.com.tw/product/key6200.jpg Here's my definition: [BTC-6200C] brandname =3D "BTC" modelname =3D "BTC 6200C Ultra Slim Multimedia USB Keyboard" [KEYS] Standby =3D 223 Back =3D 234 Forward =3D 233 Home =3D 130 Favorites =3D 230 Mail =3D 236 AudioLowerVolume =3D 174 AudioRaiseVolume =3D 176 AudioMute =3D 160 AudioPrev =3D 144 AudioPlay|Pause =3D 162 AudioNext =3D 153 AudioStop =3D 164 [END KEYS] [END BTC-6200C] It appears that everything is working exactly as expected. Thanks for crea= ting lineak! Michael Mohr |
