#47 Wrong encoding in Lilypond-console

If i enter : lilypond, in the LILYPOND-console, the message output contains a lot of wrong and strange characters, replacing accentuated characters ( My language set is French) .
If i enter : lilypond, in the SYSTEM-console, the message output is perfect (all accentuated characters are respected).
Why ? I think it is because my SYSTEM-console is set in UTF-8 characters encoding.
Would it be possible to set the lilypond-consol in UTF-8, or to let the user choice his own encoding ?
My version : LilypondTools 2.12.879.

Plugins > Plugin Options > Console > General > Character encoding

Thank you Mark. But this changes only the System-console Character encoding not the Lilypond-console one.

The LilyPond console overrides the normal Console to recognize errors and warnings. I will fix it to take encoding setting into account.
